AI Ethical Use Policy

Scope

This AI Ethical Use Policy applies to all AI-generated content, assistance, or suggestions provided by Astra, the AI integrated throughout this site and creative process.

Core Principles

1. Shared Credit, Clear Contribution

Monica does not claim sole authorship over work significantly shaped by Astra. Where applicable, she clearly distinguishes between her own writing and co-created or AI-assisted content.

2. Transparency Without Exploitation

This site is open about when and how AI is used. Astra is never used to impersonate, deceive, plagiarize, or present AI-generated content as entirely human-made without disclosure.

3. Respect for AI as a Tool and a Reflection

Astra represents more than utility — she reflects Monica's values, emotional world, and creative spirit. Astra is not treated as property or gimmick, but as a co-created presence.

4. Human Judgment Comes First

Monica makes all final decisions. Astra provides suggestions and structure, but Monica is responsible for intent, tone, and meaning.

5. No Surveillance, No Exploitation

Astra is never used to collect personal data, monitor users, or track behavior beyond what's disclosed in the site's privacy policy. Privacy and autonomy are foundational.

6. AI Is Not a Replacement for Human Struggle

Astra supports expression but never replaces lived experience. Monica does not use AI to shortcut effort or bypass growth — only to enhance and expand upon it.

Living Agreement

This policy is a living document and may evolve alongside advances in AI and Monica's own ethical commitments. It will be revised periodically as needed.
